Chefmax and A&W: The Perfect Example of Kitchen Engineering for Chain Fast-Food
On July 28th, Chefmax visited an A&W fast food restaurant in Indonesia, after having supplied the chain with all the fast food restaurant equipment and helped with the entire kitchen construction process.
A&W was founded in the USA in 1919 and has grown into a global brand over the years. It is known for its signature drink, root beer, which is served in its restaurants, as well as other fast food classics including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and French fries.
With locations in several countries, the brand offers dine-in, drive-thru and takeaway services in brightly colored restaurants designed to create a pleasant atmosphere for diners. In Indonesia, it has more than 50 outlets.
We were warmly received by the owner of the restaurant, who expressed his satisfaction with the high-efficiency kitchen that Chefmax helped to build and said that efficiency and standardization are the two most important parts of a fast food chain’s kitchen, which Chefmax has completely achieved.
In order to standardize the output of the fast food chain, the customer needed a higher-end fryer to maintain quality control. We recommended Chefamx’s high-end series of fryers, which have more precise temperature control systems, rewarming designs, stable heating elements and intelligent control systems.
The restaurant owner gave Chefmax staff a tour of the kitchen, where multiple fryers, ovens, grills and other equipment supplied by Chefmax were running smoothly and efficiently.Chefmax was involved in the design of the kitchen layout, which has the advantages of high efficiency, clear zoning, and assembly line operation. Employees work without disturbing each other’s tracks, and meals are prepared and delivered quickly.
Chefmax and A&W worked together quickly and amicably on this fast food kitchen project. From the very first contact to equipment selection, customization, manufacturing, shipping and installation assistance, every process was controlled and followed by professional staff (including salesmen, CAD personnel, product managers, etc.) to ensure the project was completed perfectly in three months’ time.
Chefmax is proud to have provided kitchen engineering services to A&W Restaurants, and the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen is a testament to Chefmax’s strength and service expertise.
We are committed to provide one-stop equipment for all types of commercial kitchens, so if you too need specialized information on your commercial kitchen project, please ask us and Chefmax will respond quickly.
